All nursing courses in the RN-BSN Program are completely online!
The RN-BSN completion option is designed for registered nurses who wish to earn the baccalaureate nursing degree. Building on competencies attained by the registered nurse, the program extends the student’s knowledge, skills, attitudes, and scope of practice for expanded career opportunities, enhances personal and professional satisfaction, and develops a foundation for further study in graduate nursing education.
Currently ranked 5th in the entire south region of the US by Best Value Schools, the UNC-Pembroke RN-BSN program is known for its effectiveness and seamless transition for students. Courses are offered completed online in eight-week long sessions. Students can decide whether to complete our program within 12 months (accelerated) or they can use the self-pace option that we offer. For students who attend part-time, they can complete the program in approximately two years.
UNC-Pembroke’s nursing faculty are highly qualified as nurse educators as well as in the areas of scholarship and service. They use their expertise to enhance the student’s learning experience by individualizing course work whenever possible. We are nationally accredited by the Commission of Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).
