The Board of Trustees of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke voted unanimously Friday morning, November 21, to name a 19-member Chancellor Search Committee to find a replacement for Chancellor Kyle R. Carter, who announced his retirement on November 10, effective on June 30, 2015. 

Dr. Orin Starn will speak at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke on Wednesday, November 19, as part of the university’s the Native American Speaker Series.

University of North Carolina at Pembroke Chancellor Kyle Carter announced today that he plans to retire on June 30, 2015, bringing to a close more than four decades in academia.

For the second consecutive year, UNC Pembroke’s student-athletes posted record high marks for graduation rates.

From Native food to powwow dancing, a series of events will be held at UNC Pembroke in November to honor Native American Heritage Month.
