125th Anniversary Blood Drive, Feb. 18
The need is constant. The gratification is instant. Give blood and be of service to UNCP and the community.
In conjunction with UNCP’s 125th anniversary celebration, a special blood drive will be held Monday, February 18, from 9:30 a.m. – 3 p.m. in the Lounge of the Chavis University Center.
The blood drive has a goal of 125 pints.
Donors are encouraged to register online in advance; individuals with appointments will be seen first. To schedule an appointment, please visit www.redcrossblood.org and click the blue box labeled “Make A Blood Donation Appointment” in the upper right corner of the page. Enter the sponsor code “UNCP” and click “Find.” The UNCP donation opportunity will appear. Click “Click here to schedule and appoint to donate.”
The first 125 donors will receive a free, collector’s edition 125th anniversary lapel pin, which features the celebration’s logo.
Also, all donors through March 31 will be entered into a drawing to win a $1,000 gift card from a home improvement store!
Double red cell donations will also be available. Donors are encouraged to hydrate and eat before donating blood.
Donors are asked to bring an ID or donor card.
