UNCP Campus Engagement and Leadership is pleased to present the Distinguished Speaker Series, now presenting Brigadier General Allen J. Jamerson, a UNCP Alumnus (1983 and 1986) and current Chair of the UNCP Board of Trustees. General Jamerson has a long, distinguished military career, and he will engage in a conversation about leadership, service, and the impact UNCP had on his life. 

The Series is designed to enhance the environment of the University and local community by engaging thought-provoking speakers in discussions on various topics of cultural, political and social importance. Previous speakers include: Bill Nye the Science Guy, Maya Angelou, Cornel West, Gabby Douglas, and Diane Guerrero.
