UPDATED: 1/20/25 at 8:30 p.m. UNCP administrators are closely monitoring updates from the National Weather Service about a cold front arriving tomorrow, Jan. 21. Forecasts predict temperatures in the teens and frigid wind chills, with little to no wintry precipitation expected in our area. At this time, the university plans to operate on a normal schedule. Southeast Native Studies Conference

The 20th annual Southeast Native Studies Conference will be held March 20-21, 2025, in the Museum of the Southeast American Indian Studies in Old Main.

The Conference provides a forum for discussion of the cultures, histories, and contemporary experiences of Native Americans in the Southeast United States. It serves as a critical venue for scholars, students, community members, and all persons interested in American Indian/Native American Studies in the region. Held annually since 2005, the SNSC is the only national conference dedicated solely to the unique histories and cultures of Southeastern Native Americans.
