BIO

John E. Spillan has a broad international academic background including research and lectures at the Warsaw School of Economics in Warsaw, Poland, and at the University of Talca in Talca, Chile. He also travels extensively in the United States, Europe, and Latin America. Dr. Spillan brings to his teaching a research both practitioner and academic experience.  His experience in management prior to entering academia provides a dual perspective into the decision making process: from the theoretical side, as well as from the practitioner side. Combining his extensive practitioner, academic, and international experience give the students at School of Business at UNCP a worldwide view of global business. This allows them a perspective on numerous aspects of management and marketing to help prepare them to the business world.
