UNCP only offers a special version of the SAT called, SAT On-Campus. This exam is only available to students applying for admission to UNCP who have permission from the UNCP Admissions Office to take this exam. Scores from this exam are good ONLY at UNCP and will not be released to any other entity.
SCHEDULING AND REGISTRATION
FEES: All registrations must be completed a minimum of 2 days prior to the test date. The payment options for registering online are Visa, MasterCard, and electronic check. The test fee of $75.00 is payable online at the time the appointment is made and is non-refundable. Fees are subject to change without notice.
RESCHEDULING POLICY: If you are unable to make your appointment, you must contact the Counseling and Psychological Services via email at email@example.com a minimum of seven days prior to the test date to reschedule the examination. Only ONE reschedule is permitted without paying another fee. SAT testing dates and seating spaces are very limited, which may mean you will not be able to reschedule a test date.
SPECIAL ACCOMMODATIONS: If you require special accommodations, please contact the UNCP Counseling and Psychological Services (910-521-6202 or firstname.lastname@example.org) a minimum of ten business days before the test date. Special accommodations will only be granted if the tester provides full documentation of approved accommodations to the Counseling and Psychological Services.
ON TEST DAY
APPOINTMENT INFORMATION: All appointments are four and one-half hours in length. Candidates must report at 8:45 AM. Late arrivals will not be permitted to test and the exam fee will not refunded.
LOCATION: All examinations are administered in room 221 of the Chavis University Center. Parking is available immediately in front of the Chavis University Center in lot 16. A parking permit will be issued to you when you check-in for your exam. Click here for a map indicating the Chavis Center and parking. The Chavis Center does not have a street address, however this address (Pembroke Place Apartments, 490 Prospect Road, 28372) is located across the street from the Chavis Center and may be used for GPS navigation.
ID REQUIREMENTS: Examinees are required to bring a valid form of government-issued identification that includes a current photo and your signature (acceptable documents include a driver's license, passport, state-issued identification card or military identification) to be admitted to the test. YOUR ID CANNOT BE EXPIRED and MUST BE IN THE NAME IN WHICH YOU ARE REGISTERED. Anyone who cannot meet these admission requirements should call the Counseling and Psychological Services at 910-521-6202 prior to the test date.
EMAIL CONFIRMATION: Examinees must bring the test registration confirmation email which is received after completing the registration process to be admitted to the test. Please check your SPAM filter if you do not receive this email message.
CALCULATOR POLICY: Calculators are NOT required for use on the SAT. Students are permitted to bring their personal calculator for use. These calculators may NOT be printing calculators, calculators with a keyboard, nor calculators that must be plugged in. There are NO calculators available for loan to students who do not bring their own.
PERSONAL ITEMS: UNCP testing policy prohibits access to cell phones, PDAs, audio and photographic devices, digital or beeping watches, large purses or bags, food, or drink at test administrations. Lockers are provided for storage of personal items during the exam.

TEST AND STUDY GUIDE INFORMATION: Test and study guide information may be found at http://sat.collegeboard.org/home. DO NOT register for the SAT On-Campus at this site! SCORE REPORTS: Your scores will be available in the UNCP Admissions Office after 2:30 PM of your test date. Your student copy of the score report will be mailed to you following the test.
RETEST POLICY: You may retake the SAT On-Campus as often as you wish without a waiting period.
