Science Fair

UNCP will host the State Region IV Science Fair for the 31st year in 2012. The date is February 11, 2012, and will be held in the auxiliary gym of the
Jones Physical Education Center.

Rare appearance of the Mobile Launch Pad at the NC Region 4 Science & Engineering Fair.

The Mobile Launch Pad for Critical Careers is a mobile laboratory that visits career fairs, science fairs, and other technology events to give students and members of the public the opportunity to explore careers in science, technology, engineering, and math. The Launch Pad offers scientific demonstrations, unique activities, games, and experiments that will introduce you to exciting career opportunities in North Carolina. The Mobile Launch Pad is coming to the NC Region 4 Science & Engineering Fair on Saturday 11 February 2012 between the hours of 8:30 am -3:00 pm. This amazing mobile laboratory is FREE and open to the general public. You do not need to be attending the science fair in order to come and visit the Mobile Launch Pad.
