HEALTH, PHYSICAL EDUCATION, AND RECREATION
The Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation (HPER) offers a Bachelor of Science degree in three areas:
- Athletic Training (CAATE Accredited)
- Exercise and Sport Science with tracks in
- Physical Education with Licensure by the State for Teaching in the Public Schools (K‑12)

Professional Concentration in Exercise and Sport Science
The Department of Health, Physical Education and Recreation offers professional concentration. The HPER oncentration requires at least 18 semester hours of any combination of ATH, HLTH, and/or REC prefixed courses that does not duplicate any present Physical Education (K-12) Licensure requirement.
