Winter Weather Advisory

UPDATED: 1/20/25 at 8:30 p.m. UNCP administrators are closely monitoring updates from the National Weather Service about a cold front arriving tomorrow, Jan. 21. Forecasts predict temperatures in the teens and frigid wind chills, with little to no wintry precipitation expected in our area. At this time, the university plans to operate on a normal schedule. The DoIT Help Desk offers a wide variety of services to the UNCP community. Whether technical or communications support, we look forward to assisting you.  

  • Classroom Technology Emergency Support - Faculty who need immediate technology assistance while in class should contact the DoIT Help Desk at 910.521.6260, and select option 2.
  • ITSM Service Portal - Submit a request for assistance.  Incidents and requests are routed directly to the DoIT staff who can resolve issues.
  • Remote Support Portal and instructions - Receive remote assistance from DoIT staff
  • Keep Working - IT resources and instructions that facilitate faculty and staff being able to work away from campus 
  • Student Technology Information - IT resources to enable student success
  • SysNews Dashboard has been created to provide timely news and updates about UNCP systems, applications, and infrastructure. 
  • Travel Abroad IT Restrictions and Accommodations - Information and recommendations for students, faculty, and staff.
