FAFSA Completion Month

FAFSA Day: February 18, 2012

FAFSA Day is Saturday February 18th, 2012.  FAFSA Day is a program offered by College Foundation of North Carolina, the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators and the State Employees' Credit Union each February. On FAFSA Day, college financial aid officers and other volunteers will help students complete their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms. The program is open to students who plan to attend college in the 2012-13 academic year.

GET FREE HELP COMPLETING AND SUBMITTING YOUR FEDERAL AID FORMS FOR COLLEGE

College financial aid professionals will be at Robeson Community College to help families complete and electronically submit their Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) forms.

College Foundation of North Carolina (CFNC) and the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators (NCASFAA) are pleased to offer this service at no cost to you.

The priority date for filing the FAFSA is March 1st.

  • To simplify the FAFSA completion process, we urge each student and parent to obtain a Personal Identification Number (PIN) prior to the FAFSA Day program. Students and parents without PINs can still participate in FAFSA Day, but the process will be faster for those with numbers. Be sure to bring both student and parent PINs with you on FAFSA Day and to register for FAFSA Day.

FAFSA DAY is a service of College Foundation of North Carolina and the North Carolina Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators. This service is available for North Carolina high school seniors planning to attend college.
