The Graduate Council of The University of North Carolina at Pembroke is the primary governance body for the School of Graduate Studies.
GRADUATE COUNCIL MEETING INFORMATION
Graduate Council Meetings are held on the third Monday of the month during the academic year. Meetings for the 2013-2014 year will be held in UC Annex room 203 at 3 pm on: September 16, October 21, November 18, January 21 or 27, February 17, March 17, and April 21.
Materials for Graduate Council Meetings are accessible by Graduate Council members through the Graduate Council blackboard website.
GRADUATE FACULTY NOMINATION FORMS
Nominations should come from a graduate program director. Adobe Reader is required to view and print PDF forms.
CURRICULUM PROPOSAL FORMS
To propose a new/altered course (Course Proposal form) or new/altered program (Program Proposal form), you will need to go to the Curriculum Forms homepage (from Academic Affairs website). Read the directions and select the appropriate form.
NOTE: Completed forms, with all signatures up to the Dean of Graduate Studies (registrar, provost, etc.), must be submitted to the Office of Graduate Studies the Friday before one week prior to the Graduate Council meeting in which the proposal is to be considered.
