Gwen StefaniThe accessory world has recently been seized by major celebrity icons. Top fashion designers are now having to compete with celebrities to gain the eye of consumers.
Many of the celebrities stepping into fashion lines are popular musicians, who have dozens of fans that would love to invest half of their life savings just to wear items designed by their favorite celebrity.
Last Spring, Gwen Stefani introduced her L.A.M.B fashion line to consumers and was a huge hit on the market. Stefani's line include handbags and various other accessories. The line is soon to introduce clothes to its exclusive accessory line.
Mariah Carey is soon to introduce her Mariah Kiss Kiss underwear line to the public later this year.
The line will be followed by Lil' Kim's launch of Hollyhood. Kim's line of various items including handbags, jeans and tops.
Rapper and actress Eve has lauched her line of fablouous handbags under the label Fetish by Eve. The collection was inspired by Eve's unique and glamorous style with an edgy urban look.
These are only a few of the recent stars entering the fashion industry. Many are finding great revenue in the profits from establishing clothing and accessory lines. Could it be that soon everyone with a major record deal and top charting singles will branch out and start their own clothing label, enticing fans to purchase clothing as well as their latest music c.d.'s?
