CSC 365 Introduction to Computer Architecture
This course introduces the student to the organization and architecture of computer systems. It covers digital logic fundamentals, including basic Boolean algebra and digital components and finite state machines. The student is exposed to instruction set architecture, how the processor is connected to memory and input/output devices, and CPU design. As time permits, microsequencer control unit design will be covered.
PREREQ: CSC 225 and CSC 265
