Description
This
course combines a range of topics integral to the design, implementation, and
testing of a medium scale software system with the practical experience of implementing
such a project as a member of a programmer team. In addition to material on
software engineering, this course treats also includes material on
professionalism and ethical responsibilities in software development and
human/computer interaction.

The
final exam is comprehensive. Other than the final, one midterm exam will be
given during the class hours. Homework problems will be assigned. All
assignments must be completed by the due date. Late homework will not be accepted!! Homework assignments are individual and not
group assignments, unless stated otherwise.
Grading

You
are responsible for all material covered in class even if you are absent. The
final grade will be a weighted average of the mid-term exam, homework, and
final exam scores.

Policy
Attendance will be checked. Excused absences must be documented and
presented to me as soon as possible before or after the absence. Missing more than three unexcused classes
will adversely affect your grade.
