With the exception of long quotes, everything must be double spaced. Greater than double spacing is NOT permitted any place on your paper. For example, a topical heading is separated from the line above and the line below with double spacing -- no greater.

The Abstract is to be single-spaced and must be housed on the page immediately following the title page. The abstract and long quotes are the only parts of the paper that may be single-spaced.
Students are required to use SAFE Assignment on Blackboard (look for the second tab labeled "SafeAssignment"):
- Students are expected to use First Draft. I will not see this. Based on First Draft, students should make changes on their paper. Students may submit their papers to First Draft as many times as they wish. I will see none of them!
- Students are required to use Final Draft and submit a hard copy of the results with their paper. Any student who fails to submit a hard copy of the results of Final Draft will be dropped a letter grade. When I receive the paper, the Final Draft report will be the first thing I will read. Sometimes Final Draft is VERY slow and can take an hour or longer! Do not put this off until the last minute!!!
