African American Student Organization The organization provides social, cultural, and educational activities, as well as support for African American students and other students of color enrolled.

African Student Organization

First and for most, the purpose of the African Student Organization at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke is to bring fellowship and unity within the African Students on campus. Secondly, this organization aims to promote the African culture on campus and in the community. United with other African Student Associations in the North Carolina area, we seek to enlighten and educate others who wish to learn more about the African culture. Through networking with a circle of diverse friends, especially minority organizations on campus, ASO-UNCP intends to break stereotypes though education and leadership.

Delta Sigma Omicron

The mission of the DSO is to advocate for inclusion of UNCP students who are disabled on campus into the University environment and to act as a group showing the opportunities available to disabled people in the UNCP community.

The purpose of Lambda Theta Phi Fraternity, Inc. are brotherhood and to develop scholarship among the Latino community, to make students and professionals aware of their responsibilities to the community, and to defend the rights of Latin students everywhere, in an effort to empower the Latino community, and to assert positive leadership. The purpose of the University of North Carolina at Pembroke Chapter of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People shall be to improve the political, educational, social and economic status of minority groups; to eliminate racial prejudice; to keep the public aware of the adverse effects of racial discrimination.

Sexuality and Gender Alliance
The purpose is to encourage the acceptance of all sexual orientations: gay, lesbian, bisexual, and straight, to offer a safe and supportive environment to discuss issues involving sexuality, to create a more amiable atmosphere on campus, and to educate people about different sexual orientations, while trying to alleviate fears and prejudices. Secular Student Alliance

To create a community of non-theists. This is to create a place for like minded individuals to come together without fear of discrimination or judgement. SSA supports the separation of church and state and the use of logic and reason to reach rational conclusions. We also seek to dispel misconceptions about atheists/agnostics/rationalists
/freethinkers, etc.
