2013 summer family orientation TENTATIVE schedule

Sessions begin promptly at 7:45am on the orientation dates and end at approximately 5:00pm. Please review the schedule below.

Please be advised that the schedule of events may be subject to change. Updated schedules will be offered on the day of the orientation session.

Calling All Athletes - Helping Your Athlete Make the Collegiate Transition. This session is designed for family members whose student has either signed on or is interested in playing a sport at UNCP. Learn about NCAA Division II requirements, and much more.

For Your Health Learn from offices on campus that can assist your student concerning the Counseling and Testing Cenrer, Disability Support Services and Student Health Services.
For Your Safety Find out about Safety and Parking issues, Code of Conduct, Academic Honor Code, Student Rights and Responsibilities and Judicial Affairs.
Ways to Save Hear it from our campus on how to save some money from the UNCP Bookstore and SODEXO (University Meal Plan).
Getting Involved What are all of the ingredients to making your student get the most of their college experience? These ingredients include cultural experience, leadership opportunities, campus and community service involvement, and entertainment.

Housing and Residence Life Take this opportunity to learn about the services, policies and procedures related to on-campus student housing. Learn about the educational experiences students can receive through the living and learning programs in residence halls.
Residential Facilities Open On-site residential tour every 15 minutes. Locations available for tour include: Cypress, North, Pine and Courtyard.
