Melvins’ prides itself in using fresh ingredients, never anything frozen, in their food. The restaurant is located on Highway 711 and is connected to the new Marathon gas station.
Students have been going wild over the new restaurant Melvins’.

Students have described Melvins’ as fresh, fast and friendly.

“We don’t have any items that come frozen, everything we make is fresh. From the cole slaw to the chili we do it ourselves,” said Shift manager Theresa (last name).

Theresa also said that Melvins has a secret recipe for their hamburgers and when people eat there that is what they love the most.

“I eat at Melvins about three times a month because I love the burgers and fries. It is convenient because it is close to work and the service is fast,” said Perry Holden, a Robenson healthcare professional.

Students visiting Melvins’ said they enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.

One of those students was Ashton Woods.

“Melvins’ is different from other fast food restaurants, the burgers are fresh and the fries are the best in town,” said Woods.

Woods said since the store has opened he has eaten there about three times a week.

Melvins’ is located on Highway 711 connected to the new Marathon gas sation.

The hours are from 9 a.m.- 7p.m. Melvins offers a 3% discount to students who have their Brave Card.
