Crime Report

Affray
March 2 - Campus Police received a call in reference to two females fighting in front of Belk Hall. Two females were charged on a state level for affray.

Disorderly conduct
March 5 - Campus Police received a call in reference to disruptive and disorderly conduct in the U.C. When the officer arrived, the officer noticed a chair placed on the stairwell in an attempt to ride down the stairs. Four students were charged on a campus level for disorderly conduct by throwing pillows and chairs.

Vandalism to Bus
March 2 - While the UNCP athletic bus was driving through Augusta, Ga., a group of people threw rocks at the bus. The bus was struck three times on the driver’s side leaving small dents and some paint damage.

Larceny of state property
March 9 - Campus Police received a call in reference to a larceny that occurred at the U.C. The caller stated that she witnessed two males walking out of the U.C. carrying a bench. Two males were charged on a state level for larceny.

Larceny
March 5 - An employee of UNCP reported lumber missing from the back of his truck that was parked in Lot 11. The lumber is valued at $150.

March 12 - 3 inch copper fittings valued at $500, a map torch and bottle valued at $250, DeWalt cordless drill valued at $150, DeWalt screw gun valued at $80, a walkie-talkie valued at $60, and a Direstorm cordless drill valued at $150 were reported by a safety manager as missing from the science building construction site.
