Lowry rocks the ‘Broke

After stunning viewers on one of America’s Top TV Shows, Pembroke’s hometown hero, Charly Lowry comes home to perform live in concert on April 10 at Roller World Skating Rink in Pembroke.

Charly has performed locally in pageants, churches, schools and plays and also served as Junior Miss Lumbee. She likes all kinds of music, including rap.

Charly will perform top pop and R&B music hits. Also performing will be First Impression and Brandon Willoughby. First Impression is an up and coming R&B trio from Maxton. Members include Bryan Hill, Len Fairley and Aaron Smith. Some of their songs include “Impress You” and “Cry.”

Willoughby is a solo artist from Red Springs who writes and performs his music with choreographed dance routines. Some of Willoughby’s songs include “This Time” and “Without You.”

Both First Impression and Willoughby got their start at the YO! Recording Studio in Pembroke. The concert will be held on Saturday, April 10th at the Roller World Skating Rink in Pembroke and is open to all ages.

The time will be 10:30 pm to 1:30 and the cost is $8. For more information call Roller World at 521-0990.
