‘Anarchy’ may soon reign WNCP-TV

By Monte Hailey

Make way for the possible new hit TV show “Anarchy Crew” to air on WNCP TV channel 6 either this summer or early fall. The show is a sketch comedy produced by UNCP student Luis Cadena.

“I was watching WNCP TV and the only good show that the station aired was the school’s news show. I decided then and there I wanted to give the students something new to watch that’s when I thought of “Anarchy Crew,” Cadena said.

Cadena has to prepare a smash hit first show by April 30, to decide whether or not his show is going to continue its episodes on to next semester.

“There’s no basis to this show, just funny skits, insanity on tape something almost everybody enjoys watching. That’s what Anarchy Crew is about,” Cadena said.

Cadena’s staff includes UNCP students: Fallon Lord, Joey Moree, Troy Mitchell, and Kyle Orozovich. Anarchy Crew is a 30 minute show, where several crazy, wild and funny skits will be performed.

Cadena wants to keep this show going like the WNCP TV news show, every semester something that all the students on UNCP’s campus can become involved in.

“The name “Anarchy Crew” just dawned on me one day. The idea came from a show a few years back that was aired on WNCP TV entitled the “Electric Monkey factory” which is sort of like “Anarchy Crew” Cadena said.

Cadena has put in a lot of work the entire semester in order to perfect his show and get it ready for air. The first show’s guest that will appear on “Anarchy Crew” prior to its airing date are Phoenix Locklear, Scott Ammons, Kyle Orozovich, Maurice Jones, Joey Moree, John Jones and some other UNCP students.

Cadena wants all UNCP students to come out and be part of the show next semester and make “Anarchy Crew” a smash hit TV show for years to come.
