Bryan Thomas will be performing on Tuesday Feb. 3 at 8 p.m. in the U.C. as part of the free CAB Coffeehouse series.

Thomas is an extremely talented artist who not only sings and plays the guitar, but he writes his own music.

“I’ve always been a writer so lyrics are really important to me,” Thomas said.

Influenced by artists like Prince and Led Zeppelin, Thomas names his type of music “Soul Rock” because of his frequent switching between the electric and acoustic guitars.

Thomas got his start as a musician when he was seven. His father, who was an assistant pastor at the time, bought him an organ so that he could play during church. Thomas has always been in bands throughout middle and high school. He really didn’t start to play the guitar until he was in college. Thomas began putting out his own original music in 1998.
Thomas’ album “Babylon” will be released in 2004 that was inspired by his baby girl Zoe. For information on the upcoming album or on Thomas you can go to www.BryanThomas.com.
