Music department/Moore Hall present shows

The UNCP music department’s schedule is overflowing with opportunities for patrons to enjoy programs featuring many different kinds of music.

The UNCP concert band will give a concert in Givens Performing Arts Center on Thursday, Sept. 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Friday, Sept. 26, the American Guild of Organists will hold an organ demonstration in Moore Hall at 7:30 p.m. The American Guild of Organists (AGO) is the national professional association serving the organ and choral music fields. The guild serves more than 20,000 members in more than 340 local chapters throughout the United States and abroad, according to the AGO website.

The UNCP concert choir will give a concert on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 7:30 p.m. in GPAC.

On Wednesday, Oct. 1, there will be a departmental recital in Moore Hall at 10 a.m.

All of these performances are free and open to the public. Everyone is encouraged to attend.
