After Tomorrow
Saturday Sept. 4 at 8 p.m.
Humanity struggles to survive a sudden, violent climate change that
plunges the world into a new ice age. Ronald Emmerich who brought
you “Independence Day” also directs this thriller starring
Dennis Quad.
The Punisher
Wednesday Sept. 8 and Saturday Sept. 11 at 8 p.m.
Thomas Jane and John Travolta star in this action movie based on
the Marvel comic. Frank Castle, a former Marine and FBI agent, finds
his attempt at a civilian life shattered when criminals murder his
family. He takes justice into his own hands and becomes the gun-totting
vigilante called the Punisher.
Man on Fire
Wednesday Sept. 15 at 9 p.m. and
Saturday Sept. 18 at 8 p.m.
Denzel Washington stars as a jaded ex-CIA agent hired to protect
a young girl played by Dakota Fanning. When the he grows to care
for the girl gets kidnapped, the mission to rescue her becomes intensely
personal.
The Notebook
Wednesday Sept. 22 at 8 p.m.
Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, and James Garner star in this romantic
drama. A man reads a notebook to an elderly woman who is losing
her memories. The notebook tells about the reunion of two lovers
separated by World War II. As the story continues, the elderly woman
slowly realizes that the notebook is about her own youth.
