Santa comes to town to hand out goodies

Santa will be handing out candy at the University Center's annual Holiday Social for students, staff and faculty on Nov. 30 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. in the UC Lounge.

There will be free food, including wings, meatballs, pigs in a blanket, fruit, vegetables, brownies and punch.

Miss UNCP Morgan Hunt will perform and emcee the entertainment, which also includes talent show winners New Reflections, and Miss Lumbee Erica Dellinger.

Mr. and Miss Homecoming, Chris Adams and Ivory Bouknight, will also be there to help register students for the door prize.

Students can register for the $50 cash door prize in advance until the day of the social.

There is a separate door prize for staff and faculty.
