Student's bicycle stolen from Oak

According to the campus crime report, on Nov. 14 a student reported that their bicycle was stolen outside of Oak Hall. It was latched to the bike rack outside the building. An officer responded to the call and filed a report.

The residence adviser in Belk Hall reported on Nov. 16 the smell of gas on the second floor. Officers informed maintenance and they went to the building to investigate the smell.

On Nov. 25 someone requested for a student to be removed from a classroom in Locklear Hall. An officer responded, but it is still unknown if the student was removed from the classroom.

Campus police responded to a call stating that a vehicle was parked behind the library. The vehicle blocked the back entrance and officers charged the driver with a parking violation.

Residence hall security called campus police about a possible visitor violation on Nov. 20. in Belk Hall. The two students were charged with a campus level visitor violation.

Two reports of breaking and entering were filed Nov. 22. Two students advised campus police that someone had broken in to their apartments in University Village Apartments. It is unknown if any personal property was stolen.

A student advised campus police that they needed a police escort to obtain personal property from someone's apartment in Courtyard Apartments. An officer escorted the student, and they were able to retrieve their personal materials

A car accident occurred in front of the CITGO/Kangaroo gas station on West Third Street on Nov. 28 around 1:30 p.m.

They were no life threatening injuries reported, but three Pembroke fire trucks and two emergency vehicles were on hand. A few volunteer firefighters re-directed traffic.

Pembroke police were also on the scene.
