DoIT

The DoIT Help Desk offers a wide variety of services to the UNCP community. Whether technical or communications support, we look forward to assisting you.

Updating wireless and residential networks: When you see access messages such as "This Connection is Untrusted" or "There is a problem with this website's security certificate," follow the steps to continue using the networks.

New email filtering system: Users will periodically receive an email quarantine report. Read a quick guide (pdf)

Unified Messaging is replacing the old campus voicemail system. Download the Quick Start Guide (pdf) and Instructions (MS Word).

Remote Access: Secure, encrypted FTP access is available using FileZilla.

The DoIT Help Desk also provides phone and email support from 8 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday, from 8 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Friday, 9 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Saturday, from 3 p.m. to midnight Sunday.

 

Assistance Related to a Classroom Setup (for faculty)

If you need immediate assistance, contact the DoIT Help Desk at 910.521.6260. If it is before 8 a.m. and you cannot reach the DoIT Help Desk staff, please call Wanda Hunt at 910.521.6846 or the Library LabTech at 910.522.5710. We will try to assist you as quickly as possible.
