The Intramurals/Campus Recreation Program believes that leisure physical activity and enjoyment are vital to a person’s total well-being. Based upon this belief, the intramural program provides a broad and diversified program of recreational sport activities for the University’s students, faculty, and staff.

Students at UNC Pembroke have opportunities for participation in over a dozen intramural activities, and if that is not sufficient recreational opportunity, there’s also recreational swimming, weight lifting, and fitness activities.

The Outdoor Activity Program (OAP) was established in the fall of 2005. The goal of the program is to provide a wide range of outdoor activities at a variety of skill levels for the UNCP community. Participants have the opportunity to develop lifetime recreational skills, learn about safety and proper technique, gain an appreciation and concern for our natural environment, meet new people, and have a great time!

SKIN DIVING LESSONS
Use of mask, fins and snorkel
When: Classes Sundays Feb 12th and 26th in the UNCP Dive Tank from 2 pm-6 pm
Where: UNCP Swimming Pool
Eligibility: Participants must be at least 10 years of age and able to swim 50 yards easily
Cost:  Cost is $40 for non-students and free for UNCP students and includes use of equipment
