2010 Summer Art Show And Sale

The Museum of the Native American Resource Center is pleased to 
introduce our new exhibit, The 2010 Summer Art Show and Sale. The Summer Show has been a regular highlight of our museum schedule for more than a decade. The Multimedia exhibit will highlight artwork from various artists and media. All of the artists represented in the exhibit this year are Lumbee.
Artists featured in the exhibit are: Joan Blackwell, Linda Brewer, DeLora Cummings, Shelia Godwin, Alceon Jones, Kathleen Jones, Alisha Locklear, Bernice Locklear, Harold B. Locklear, Mabel Locklear and Timmie Locklear. The works included in this exhibit include oil and acrylic painting, mixed media painting, wood carving, sewing and gourd work.
The Annual Summer Art Show and Sale will opened on Saturday, July 3, 2010 during the Annual Lumbee Homecoming celebration and will be on display through October 31, 2010. For more information contact the Resource Center at 910-521-6282 or e-mail becky.goins@uncp.edu
