• Sacred Hoop: Southwest Indian Art Reception: A reception to celebrate the exhibit will be held on Tuesday, June23, 2009.  Refreshments will be served.  For more information, contact the Native American Resource Center at 910.521.6282 or email nativemuseum@uncp.edu. 
• Annual Summer Show-and-Sale: We are modifying our schedule somewhat this year.  The Annual Summer Show-and-Sale usually opens the Saturday of Lumbee Homecoming, and runs through Indian Heritage Week (the third week in September). This year we will officially open the Show-and-Sale Thursday, July 23, 2009, and it will run through the end of October.  Deadline for submission of works is July 10, 2009.  You may submit up to five pieces (maybe more, if they’re really small) for consideration. We are particularly interested in your works which are new, or which have not been shown in our museum before.  As always, you may offer any or all of your works for sale if you choose.
