How do I create my Braveweb account?
- Locate the Activation Code in your acceptance letter to complete your account registration.
- Your Student ID is also known as a Banner ID and can be found in your Braveweb account.
- Logging into Braveweb gives access to Bravemail, Banner Self Service (registration, student records, and financial aid), Student Insurance Waiver, Meal Plans and Online Account Center (charges, payments, refunds), etc.

How do I access my BraveMail account?
- From the UNCP home page (www.uncp.edu), select the Bravemail (student) link from either the QUICK LINKS dropdown at the top right or the MENU dropdown at the top left.
- On the next page, enter your BRAVEWEB username and password, and then click Login. Your Braveweb password will always be used to access Bravemail.
- When activating your account, select (UTC 05:00) Eastern Time (US & Canada) as the time zone. You will then have access to your Bravemail (Office 365) email, which includes a includes a calendar, Microsoft Office apps, and more.

How do I add a class (before or by the last day to add/drop classes)?
- Log into http://braveweb.uncp.edu
- Select BANNER SELF SERVICE
- Select "Student"
- Select "Registration"
- Select "Add & Drop Class", and then select "Term", and enter in "Pin", (if needed)
- Add Class to Worksheet will appear, enter in "CRN" or select "Class Search"
- Select the course subject you wish to take , then click on "Course Search"
- Select "View Section" of the course you wish to take
- Click on box by the section you want to select
- Then click on "Register for Class"

- Enter in "Pin" (If this is the first time signing up for classes this term)
- List of classes will appear, select the "drop down menu" by the class you wish to drop
- Select "web drop" to drop a class. (Will not work, if there is only one class on the schedule).You will have to do a "Request to withdraw from all Undergraduate classes"

Student Consent to Release Records (FERPA)
Sign into Braveweb
- Select Student consent to Release Records (FERPA)
- Read Federal Family Education Rights and Privacy Act
- Click on “OK”
- Select “+ Add Person”
- Enter in the information for the person(s) you wish to allow access to your academic record. (You may also limit the amount of access granted).
Please know you, the student, will also have to create and share the Secret Code with the person you are granting permission to. They will be asked to provide this code at the time of requesting information about your academic record. This request can be updated by the user of this account at their leisure.

I'm accepted. What's next?
Congratulations on your acceptance to UNC Pembroke! Now that you have been accepted, there are several items you should complete. The information provided below can also be found in your acceptance packet.
1. SET UP YOUR BRAVEWEB ACCOUNT
You will need the ACTIVATION CODE found in your acceptance letter to complete your account registration. Your STUDENT ID is also known as a BANNER ID and can be found in your BraveWeb account. The BANNER ID will be used very often, so please make note of it. Logging into BraveWeb gives access to BraveMail, Banner Self Service (registration, student records and financial aid), Student Insurance Waiver, Meal Plans and Online Account Center (charges, payments and refunds), etc.
2. COMPLETE FAFSA & FINANCIAL AID
FAFSA: Complete the FAFSA at https://fafsa.ed.gov to determine your financial aid eligibility. Make sure you have listed UNC Pembroke's school code (002954) on the FAFSA application. NOTE: You must be fully admitted to UNC Pembroke before financial aid can be awarded. Please call our Financial Aid Department if you need assistance with at 910.521.6255.
Financial Aid: To check your financial award status: 1. Login to BraveWeb 2. Click Banner Self Service 3. Click Student Financial Aid 4. Click Financial Aid 5. Click \"My Eligibility\" to see if additional documents are needed 6. Click \"My Award Information\" to view your award for the year. Please check your BraveMail account as well as your personal email account for information from our Financial Aid office including information on additional documentation needed to process your aid. Typically, financial aid award packets are sent in late March or early April.
Military and Veterans: If you plan to use Federal Tuition Assistance or receive VA benefits, please CLICK HERE for instructions.
3. COMPLETE NEW STUDENT ORIENTATION AND REGISTRATION
Online orientation is required for all online and distance education students. The registration fee $75.00. PLEASE NOTE: You are NOT required to pay the orientation fee up-front; it is directly applied to your student account and will appear on your tuition and fee bill.
4. COMPLETE THE STUDENT HEALTH FORM
Students that do not plan on enrolling in classes on campus are NOT required to complete the Student Health Form.
5. WAIVE OR ACCEPT STUDENT HEALTH INSURANCE
Online and Distance Education students are NOT required to purchase a student injury and sickness insurance plan.
6. GET YOUR BRAVES CARD (STUDENT ID)
In addition to being your official UNCP ID card, the Braves Card grants you access to a variety of locations on campus including dining facilities, residence halls, the library and vending machines. It is also your ticket to athletic and other campus events as well as a discount card within the community.
8. STUDENT ACCOUNTS
Student Account activity may be managed through your BraveWeb account. This will allow you to view your bills, make payments, and set up authorized users (parents, employers, etc.)

Undergraduate Graduation Application

How do I apply for graduation?
- Go to Registrar forms page
- Select Graduation application, pdf or word document to be downloaded and printed.
- Fill out all required fills. ( Graduation Date, Catalog year, Banner ID, contact information, diploma mailing information, major/minor/concentration/track information, advisor name printed, and your signature.)
- Call Student Accounts, 910-521-6855, to make payment over the phone. Make sure to put the receipt number of payment on the application prior to submitting it.
- ****Due to COVID-19, you may email, your graduation application to graduation@uncp.edu or registrar@uncp.edu. Use only your UNCP email account when submitting your application. Copy (CC) your advisors when you submit your application so they can reply with approval to the graduation or registrar email. You can also fax (910-521-6328), or mail your application in.

How much is the Application Fee?
- Application Fee is $55.
- Late Fee is $25.

What are the deadlines for submitting an Undergraduate Application?
If you plan to graduation:
- Winter - November 1st deadline
- Spring/Summer - April 1st deadline
Students must apply two semesters prior to intended graduation date.
If application is submitted after the deadline, students must pay a late fee of $25.

When is Grad Finale?
Grad Finale happens every Fall and Spring semester. You can find more information on the date, time, and location on the academic calender for the term you selected to graduate in.
