Junyong Kim

Junyong Kim is an assistant professor of finance at the Thomas College of Business and Economics at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke (UNCP). Prior to UNCP, he was a visiting assistant professor of finance at the Sheldon B. Lubar School of Business at the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee (UWM), where he earned his Ph.D. in finance. He serves as an ad hoc referee for the Journal of International Financial Markets, Institutions & Money and Finance Research Letters, and his publications have appeared in Applied Economics Letters, the International Review of Financial Analysis, and the Journal of Financial Research. He was a recipient of the Sheldon B. Lubar Scholarship and the Gold Star Teaching Award at UWM, and is a member of the Financial Management Association and the Midwest Finance Association.
