Set in 1625, d’Artagnan’s quest to become a Musketeer propels him and his sister, Sabine, into a royal scandal comprised of a bitter rivalry between King Louis XIII and the evil Cardinal Richelieu. In a comical, yet fateful twist, d’Artagnan teams up with Athos, Porthos and Aramis, otherwise known as “The Three Musketeers,” to protect the King, Queen and all of France in this action-packed adventure.
GPAC’s season opening performance will be directed by Jonathan Drahos and performed by University Theatre students.
