Medical Tourism Association (MTA) (or Global Healthcare Organization)
A non-profit international, association consisting of international hospitals, insurance companies, healthcare companies, medical tourism companies. Based in West Palm Beach, Florida. It has published Medical Tourism Magazine since 2008 and manages a related blog.
International Board of Medicine and Surgery (IBMS)
An organization whose members include international physicians, surgeons, dentists, and other healthcare professionals. It connects patients and MTFs with international health care providers. -
International Association for Medical Assistance to Travelers (IAMAT)
A non-profit organization set up since 1960. It aims to advise travelers about health risks, the geographical distribution of diseases worldwide, immunization requirements, and to make competent medical care available to travelers.
U.S. Travel Insurance Association (UStiA)
An association of insurance carriers, third-party administrators, insurance agencies and related businesses engaged in developing, administrating, and marketing of travel insurance and travel assistance products.
