• Our MPA student participants in this year's Graduate Research Symposium placed first and second for their papers. 1st place- Stephanie Bertorelli, MPA: Policies of the 1970s and the Ongoing War on Women, 2nd place- Gretchen Adame, MPA: Does Public Perception of Economic Stability Impact Levels of Death Penalty Support.

• January 16, 2023 – University of North Carolina at Pembroke has been recognized as one of the best schools for online learning at the master’s level by OnlineMastersDegrees.org (OMD). UNCP’s public administration programs earned top honors for overall quality, affordability and commitment to student success.

UNC Pembroke shines at Model UN conferences

UNC Pembroke student delegates won three awards at the 2023 Southern Regional Model United Nations (SRMUN) Conference in Charlotte. UNCP also brought home hardware from the Southeast Regional Model Arab League conference at Converse College.
