Save the Date: Braves Kickoff
August 14-16, 2024
Braves Kickoff is held annually on the UNCP campus to celebrate the university's accomplishments; promote a culture of professional development and mission-centered work; cultivate transparency and effective communication; and foster a sense of belonging for all university employees.
This year's all-employee event will be held Wednesday, Aug. 14, from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the Givens Performing Arts Center. Lunch will be provided.
This event is mandatory for all employees.
Additional details including an agenda and menu will be posted on this site and sent via email over the next few weeks. Please note, in-person annual compliance training will not be built into the 2024 Braves Kickoff schedule. Learn more about compliance training here.
Individual departments, divisions and offices may use the remainder of the Braves Kickoff window, Aug. 14-16, to hold meetings, workshops and other professional development activities. The Chancellor's Welcome Back Reception and the General Faculty Meeting will also be held during this window.
