UNC Pembroke’s Spanish theater group Acto Latino recently traveled to Madrid, Spain.  While in the Spanish capitol, the undergraduates performed Carlos Bernal's play La fabula de la nevera, el cuchillo y el mechero. The performance, co-directed by Ana Cecilia Lara and Carlos Bernal, was held in Centro Cultural El Torito, Madrid City Hall, April 4^th at 7:00 p.m.

The cast included: Trent Adams, Wendys A. Cruz, Maite Easterling, Indiana L. Hawkins, Nancy Martinez Luviano, Azael Pérez Pérez, and Joselyn E. Salmeron. The students were in Spain March 31st through April 7, 2019 and were accompanied by professors Ana Cecilia Lara and Milagros López-Fred.
