The UNCP Psi Lambda chapter of Beta Beta Beta is holding a T-shirt design contest!

Beta Beta Beta (TriBeta) is an honor society for students majoring in the biological sciences and is dedicated to promoting scientific research and increasing interest in the study of all fields of biology. All UNCP students, faculty, and staff are welcome to submit designs for the contest.
T-shirt design requirements:
Submitted designs should be the artist’s original work and should celebrate the study of the natural sciences in order to symbolize TriBeta’s belief in expanding research and collaboration in all scientific practices. As a biology honor society, we are especially excited about designs that highlight the study of biology at UNCP. Preference will be given to designs that incorporate elements related to the various biological fields of study available at UNCP. These fields of study include botany, zoology, molecular biology, environmental science, agriculture, pre-health careers/medicine, biotechnology, and science education.
T-shirts will be printed with a UNCP logo on the front pocket area, and the winning design will be printed on the back of the T-shirt. The designs must use only one color and must be suitable for screen printing (please avoid using a lot of small details). Designs may include words, images, or a combination of both.
How to apply:
Email your design as a .pdf or image file (.jpeg, .png .eps) to uncp.tribeta@gmail.com before 11:59 pm on March 10, 2021. Please use the email subject line “T-shirt design submission,” include the submitted design as an attachment, and indicate your name and university affiliation in the body of the email.
Applicants are welcome to submit multiple designs for review.
Winner selection:
The winning design will be selected by members of UNCP’s Psi Lambda chapter of TriBeta. The winning designer will be notified by email no later than March 17th.
The winning designer will receive a $75 Starbucks or Chick-Fil-A gift card, a free T-shirt, and will be featured on our TriBeta website.
