Bryant Reed, a mass communication graduate from Charlotte, recently joined the newsroom at KDKA, a CBS affiliate in Pittsburgh.

A 2018 UNCP graduate, Reed covers breaking news, human interest, crime and enterprise stories. He previously worked at WECT-TV in Wilmington. While at UNCP, Reed worked on the student-run TV newscast, Carolina News Today, as a reporter, anchor and producer and interned with NBC in Brazil for the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro.

He also worked as a color commentator for Braves athletics.
