UNCP is closely monitoring the effects of Hurricane Helene and its potential impact to southeastern North Carolina throughout Friday, Sept. 27.

At this time, the university is maintaining a normal operating schedule. If conditions change and operations must be reduced, an official email message will be sent to the campus community and posted immediately on the university website. Please continue to monitor your BraveMail, uncp.edu and the university’s main social media feeds (Facebook and Instagram). 

In the event of campus closings or event cancellations, BraveAlert text messages and LiveSafe updates will be deployed. If you haven't already done so, please download the LiveSafe App to stay connected and receive safety alerts.
The safety of our students, faculty and staff remains our top priority. We encourage you to carefully monitor weather conditions in your area and make the best decisions for your personal safety.

Students should monitor their BraveMail and Canvas site for updated messages from their professor/course instructor and refer to the class syllabi for details concerning class attendance. Please contact your professor/instructor if you believe weather conditions will prevent you from attending class.
