Elections Process - 2025 Spring Elections

The Student Government Association Spring Elections are meant to fill all seats during regular elections in the spring semester. All UNC Pembroke students are members of the SGA, and these students are represented by elected or appointed officers. This is your opportunity to become an officer – be involved in the democratic process and create a positive change for yourself and other students on campus. To see how many officer seats and what categories of seats we have, please visit our Active SGA Members page and scroll down to the Legislative Branch section. All seats are open for election, including the Executive Branch.

Below is a timeline for Spring Elections:
Monday, January 20 - Application to Run for Office OPENS at 12:00 AM
Sunday, February 2 - Application CLOSES at 11:59 PM
Monday, February 3 - Verification of Applicants and Finalization of Ballot
Monday, February 10 - Campaigning Begins
Monday, February 17 - Voting Begins
Sunday, February 23 - Campaigning and Voting Ends at 11:59 PM
Monday, February 24 - Certification of Ballots and Announcement of Election Winners
