The Office for Community and Civic Engagement has a host of virtual workshops for faculty, staff, students, and community partners to build collaborative partnerships.
A list of upcoming trainings and workshops are listed below. Viewers are recommended to use Google Chrome and Safari browsers to access the live workshops. A WebEx plug-in may need to be installed when using other browsers. All virtual workshops will be recorded and can be accessed after the virtual sessions.

Service-Learning Professional Development Initiative
The Office for Community and Civic Engagement (CCE) is pleased to announce our upcoming Service-Learning Professional Development Initiative. This initiative is for all UNCP faculty that have interest in service-learning. This initiative will be a three part series on September 1st, October 6th, and November 3rd, from 2:00pm-2:45pm each day.
Participants will have the opportunity to engage in the following:
- Network with new Community Partners
- Learn about the Appreciative Based Change Model (created by CCE)
- Learn new strategies to engage students in service-learning
All participants that attend all three sessions will receive a Certificate of Professional Development in Service-Learning. If you wish to participate you must complete the RSVP.
