Professional Development Home Study

Professional counselor completing UNCP's continuing education home study.

The UNCP Department of Counseling and the Phi Sigma Chapter of Chi Sigma Iota annually host our award-winning Professional Development Academy (PDA). We are approved by the National Board for Certified Counselors (NBCC ACEP #4326) to provide live and home study continuing education.

The home study sessions found below are free to watch and NBCC certificates cost $5 per contact hour.

How to receive your NBCC certificate of completion
1. Watch the recorded professional development session in its entirety.
2. Complete the Content Quiz, scoring at least three correct.
3. Complete the workshop evaluation.
4. Mail $5 check or money order for each hour and you will receive your certificate via email.
