Anita Stallings is the Vice Chancellor for Advancement.  A seasoned leader with extensive academic development and alumni relations experience, she has served in leadership positions during much of her decorated three-decade-long career. At Duke University School of Nursing, she led an effective development and alumni affairs team to support the No. 2-ranked graduate school in the country. During her tenure, she worked on numerous campaigns and targeted fundraising programs, including Duke Forward, a comprehensive campaign spanning Duke University and Duke Health.  

“I am honored to join UNC Pembroke at such a pivotal time in its history. The university’s deep commitment to diversity and to making high-quality education accessible are two qualities that attracted me to this position,” she said.  “I look forward to making sure my team has the time they need to develop genuine relationships with our alumni and other stakeholders who want to help us positively impact the lives of our students and the community in transformative ways.”
