Dr. Anthony Johnson earned his Ph.D. (2016) in Modern European History (Russian Specialization) from Georgia State University.  Dr. Johnson is a Assistant Professor at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke where he teaches 19^th and 20^th Century European History, Imperial Russia, Soviet Russia, Modern Middle East, Modern World.  Dr. Johnson's research focuses on Siberian Regionalism in the Social and Political Life of the Russian Empire.
