UPDATED: 1/20/25 at 8:30 p.m. UNCP administrators are closely monitoring updates from the National Weather Service about a cold front arriving tomorrow, Jan. 21. Forecasts predict temperatures in the teens and frigid wind chills, with little to no wintry precipitation expected in our area. At this time, the university plans to operate on a normal schedule. About

Branan Dennard joins the team as the Associate Director of Development with a focus on major gifts. He is new to fundraising but brings with him a track record of sales success from his previous career stops.

His early professional life was spent in the multi-family real estate space. In 2017, he transitioned into a sales director position with a digital marketing agency and finished his sales career as the VP of Sales with a global eCommerce marketing company.

A native of Milledgeville, Georgia, he graduated in 2014 from Armstrong State University with a BS in Criminal Justice. Branan moved to Lumberton, NC in 2019 with his family. His wife, Christina, currently serves as the Sr. Associate Athletics Director of Compliance & Student Services here at UNCP. Together they have a 6-year-old son, Lucas.
