Dr. Christopher Solano joined the Sysco Corporation as a Vice President of Finance/CFO January 2014. Prior to Sysco Mr. Solano’s career experience includes various leadership positions in Fortune 500 and Private Corporate Finance including CFO for The NBMBA, CFO/Controller for The Johnson Publishing Company (Fashion Fair Cosmetics Businesses), and Plant Controller (Domestic Pet Care) for Procter & Gamble (1999 – 2008), as well as Commercial Banking earlier in his career.

Dr. Solano is a graduate of The University of California, Irvine where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, during which time he completed his Junior year abroad at the University of Exeter. He has also received his Masters of Business Administration with a Concentration in Finance and Strategic Management from The University of North Carolina’s Kenan-Flagler School of Business. He received his Doctor of Business Administration from the Davis College of Business at Jacksonville University (Dissertation Topic Cryptocurrency Value Formations Utilizing Machine Learning.
