Chuck Joined the Mass Communication Department in Fall of 2014 as the Broadcast & Emerging Media Engineering Technician. He brings with him more than 25 years of experience in media and telecommunications in higher education, broadcasting and sports production.

Chuck was the Media/Telecommunications Coordinator for Richmond Community College before moving on to Time Warner Cable where he served as Division Production Manager in the Charlotte area.  As part of his responsibilities, he managed all of the day-to-day operations, contracts, budgets and remote productions. He also served as the Director of Broadcast Operations for Paradigm Broadcast Services in Charlotte, NC. His duties included managing remote television facilities used for a number of regional sporting groups. He also had oversight responsibilities for organizational operations, marketing and engineering.  Prior to joining UNCP, Chuck worked in the freelance market managing mobile productions as well as integrating and outfitting high-definition mobile television units.
