About
Dr. Courtney Alexander is a cellular neuroscientist and an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology. She received her PhD from Weill Cornell Graduate School and completed an NIH-sponsored Institutional Research and Academic Career Development Award (IRACDA) post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Texas Health San Antonio. Her research uses C. elegans to explore longevity and age-related neurodegenerative disorders. She loves working with students in the lab and has helped several students successfully apply for graduate programs.
